madison/miles media, a DFW-based content marketing agency, was honored by The Content Council at the annual Pearl Awards for Heartbeat magazine, published for Mended Hearts. The magazine earned the bronze award for Best Association/Nonprofit Publication publication.
When madison/miles took over publication of Heartbeat, they overhauled the magazine’s editorial direction and design to better inform, educate, and engage Mended Hearts’ membership. Mended Hearts was so pleased with the changes that they decided to increase the frequency from four issues a year to six. Since the redesign, Heartbeat has won two Communicator Awards and an Apex Award for Most Improved Publication, in addition to the Pearl Award.
The prestigious Pearl Awards celebrate the best in content marketing from around the world. Winners were picked from nearly 400 entries from leading brands, publishers and agencies. Experts judged entries on overall effectiveness, creativity and editorial excellence.
