madison/miles media, a DFW-based content marketing agency, has won three APEX 2016 Awards, which honor excellence in publishing by professional communicators.
The agency’s electronic media submission, an ebook titled “Do-It-Yourself Guide: Shoot Amazing Videos for Your Business,” won a Grand Award, the highest recognition that APEX judges can give. Out of over 1,600 entries, only 86 received the Grand Award.
“The APEX Grand Award is a huge honor,” says madison/miles co-founder Mario Medina. “We’ve seen video take off as a content marketing tool in recent years, so we created this ebook as a guide for other organizations to connect with their audiences through incredible, professional video content.”
madison/miles also won two Awards of Excellence. Heartbeat magazine won in the most improved magazine, tabloid and journal category. The magazine, published for Mended Hearts, recently underwent a major redesign by madison/miles. The Collective Impact Playbook, published for the Health and Wellness Alliance for Children, also took home an Award of Excellence in the special purpose print media category.
The APEX Awards for Publication Excellence honors corporate and nonprofit publishers, editors, writers and designers who create print, Web, electronic and social media. Beginning in 1988, APEX is sponsored by the editors of Writer’s Web Watch, an e-newsletter for communicators who write, edit and manage business publications.
