DFW-based content marketing agency madison/miles media has been named a Bronze winner in the 35th Annual Telly Awards, which received nearly 12,000 entries from all 50 states and numerous countries. The agency won the honor for art direction for its online video “A Moment of Truth,” produced for the Health and Wellness Alliance for Children.
The video, which introduces and explains the mission of the nonprofit group, uses simple animation and bold coloring to draw in viewers to learn more about the Alliance’s important work.
The Telly Awards was founded in 1979 and is the premier award honoring outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs, the finest video and film productions, and online commercials, video and films. Winners represent the best work of the most respected advertising agencies, production companies, television stations, cable operators, and corporate video departments in the world.
A prestigious judging panel of more than 500 accomplished industry professionals, each a past winner of a Silver Telly, evaluated entries to recognize distinction in creative work.
“The Telly Awards has a mission to honor the very best in film and video,” said Linda Day, Executive Director of the Telly Awards. “madison/miles media’s accomplishment illustrates their creativity, skill, and dedication to their craft and serves as a testament to great film and video production.”
“Digital video is on a big upswing right now; 85% of Internet users regularly watch video online,” says Mario Medina, creative director and co-founder of madison/miles media. “But creating video for the sake of it isn’t advisable. You have to have the right approach and content and really know your audience, and this award is a reflection of that. We’re proud of the work we did for the Health and Wellness Alliance for Children and our part in helping them advance their efforts.”
